Winter brings softer ground, shorter daylight hours, and often a modified course layout.
Introducing winter scorecards for shortened winter courses is a smart, practical move. They set realistic expectations, help protect handicaps by avoiding inaccurate scoring, and reduce confusion when holes are combined, shortened, or played to temporary greens. Clear winter scorecards improve pace of play, enhance member satisfaction, and show that the club is well-organised and thoughtful about seasonal conditions; small changes that make a big difference through the winter months.
Recently 2 of our clients asked us to design & print new Winter Scorecards.
Diss GC winter course feature mats on par 3’s & a number of shortened holes throughout the winter, so the course was re-measured & certified, so we created this new card with new tee colours & new cover image based around their current scorecard design.
Peebles GC wanted a simplified version of their complex 6-panel large format card & asked us to remove the Black Tees from the grid & course/slope tables. We also reduced the size to the standard format.
